EADS 3 SIGMA is a Hellenic company focused in the Design, Development, Production and Services Provision of Airborne and Surface Target Drone Systems. Over the last 2 decades the company has been representing threats for a variety of Ground Based, Air to Air and Maritime Air-Defense Systems aiming to the evaluation and testing of the Weapon Systems as well as the evaluation and training of the personnel that serves them. Since 25th of February 2010, EADS Defence & Security (DS) has acquired the totality of shares from the previous owners. This acquisition will further strengthen the position of the Greek Company EADS 3SIGMA as service provider of surface and aerial targets within the international market and will further strengthen the position od DS as global service provider for defence training of Armed Forces. The product portfolo of target systems reaches from low up to high sub-sonic speed suitable for Army, Navy and Air Forces. By completing this acquisition, DS will secure jobs in the aeronautical industry in Greece and create synergies between the target systems business in Germany and EADS 3SIGMA in Greece. |
